Orca Whales Hunting Puget Sound

A group of transient orcas, or killer whales (Orcinus orca) swim back and forth near several uneasy sea lions, in front of the Bremerton Naval Station, near Seattle, Washington. Orcas native to Washington waters feast only on fish, but these transient orcas from California are mammal eaters. Sea lions, seals, and porpoises are the main food sources for these huge predators.
